Patriot NJROTC

The Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) is a high school program designed to help students become better leaders and citizens.

After four years in this program I held several successful leadership roles, such as Public Affairs Assistant, Admin Officer, and Cadet Battalion Commander.

Throughout my four years, I competed on the Orienteering team, a team focused on enhancing land navigation skills. Each year, I podiumed at the Area Five Championships, winning both my freshman year on the beginner course and winning my senior on the varsity course. In my junior year, I competed at the NJROTC Orienteering National Championship.

During my summer before senior year, I was selected for and successfully completed the NJROTC Area Five Leadership Academy

As the Cadet Battalion Commander, I led the 140+ Cadets of the Patriot NJROTC unit at Governor Thomas Johnson High School
